Description[?]:
Citizens of Mordusia, No doubt by now you will have seen the news that a minor coalition partner has attempted to bring down your democratically elected government. I am pleased to announce to you this evening that they have failed. This government shall continue its task uninterrupted. The Libertarian Party stood before the electorate less than one year ago and claimed the mantle of freedom and independence as theirs. They received your backing on the strength of those claims. Those claims were lies. What has happened these past few days is a crime committed directly against the people of this nation. They willfully and wickedly misled this nation in order to sabotage this government, to sabotage the Republican movement and attack Mordusian democracy. They now claim to be Communists, Communists committed to defending a hereditary monarchy. Many of you call them by their true name, Traitors. The extent of their treason and their plans is not yet known, but in the coming weeks it shall be. The whereabouts of Former Ministers David Supras, Darlene Goldmann, Naomi French and Simon Portillo is yet to be ascertained. For this treason all four shall be declared 'enemies of the state', stripped of citizenship and excluded from all protection under law. It is the duty of every loyal citizen to apprehend, or assist others to apprehend, these four individuals. The security services shall be given all powers necessary to defend our democracy and prevent their escape. John Hamilton Prime Minister & Imperial Seal-Bearer |
