Message | I want to particularly address the media regulations regarding the publishing of falsehoods: note that citizens and corporations have the ability to sue in the case where there is harm done. There are actually very few 'proven falsehoods' except perhaps within scientific literature and on other matters it is noted that what one person considers proven is not necessarily accepted by another - thus the court is given powers of censorship in deciding such issues. Also as the law is written fictional novels, amusing tabloids, comics and even political opinion can be forbidden. Unless the law is re-written to specifically address libel, slander and publications asking for money or commitment, it must be struck down to ensure that it is not misused by activist judges and frivolous or politically motivated litigation. |

Message | You had misunderstood article #3: it is for falsehood against persons, not political ones. This would be with this option: "It is forbidden to criticize the government, or publish any material that the government does not approve of." |

Message | We would like to point out that under Civil Liberties Section 12 individuals may sue over falsehoods printed about them. We feel this is a proper counterbalance to the freedom of speech, not draconian laws which might *ahem* be misused by certain political parties as thought control. Besides, we allow cross-dressing - if that isn't a falsehood, I don't know what is. |

Message | Finally things are getting straight...SV approves the use of heroine and cocaine. To celebrate this, a brick of 5 kilos of said drug has been sended to every party member |

Message | http://thelawwestofealingbroadway.blogspot.com/2005_03_01_thelawwestofealingbroadway_archive.html ""Importation of Cocaine in baggage, 5kg, street value £250,000 Crown Court of course, ten to twelve years."" At the last election we took 6.4 Million votes, roughly 10% of supporters are party members, so that would be around 640,000 members. So 5kg of cocaine has a street value of 250k, 640,000 multiplied by 250,000 = 16 Billion. We would like to know how the NL has amassed this amount of money? Is it true that the NL Ministers back in the 2180's pilfered from the National Pensions Scheme? Anyway back to the original point, if naturally occurring drugs are legal, then only cocaine in its natural state would be legal, ie the cocoa seeds, not the actual manufactured drug. |

Message | Heroin and cocaine are not 'naturally occuring' as they require processing. Here, have a mushroom. |

Random fact: Moderation will not accept Cultural Protocol updates which introduce, on a significant scale, cultures which are likely to be insufficiently accessible to players. In particular, for all significant cultures in Particracy, it should be easy for players to access and use online resources to assist with language translation and the generation of character names. Moderation reserves the right to amend Cultural Protocols which are deemed to have introduced significant cultures that are not sufficiently accessible and which are not being actively role-played with. |
Random quote: "The Revolution needs to progress. We as humans need to evolve into higher beings through better moral virtues. And we can achieve that if we clean ourselves from the immoral. Those who go against the Revolution, go against human progress and must be freed in the most humane way possible. That is why we introduced the guillotine." - Maximus Robertson, former Davostani revolutionary |
