Message | Mr. Speaker, The LLP does not believe that we should put our nation up for sale. The Liberals try to remove nearly all the government oversight we have on our nation's most important sectors. The LP says the services will still be affordable after this considerable privatization. The LLP does not share that view. The market will make it less accessible for low income citizens and the prices will go up considerably. The LLP believes that we should not fix something that isn't broken. The current deficit is not the result of our government spending too much, but of the recent tax cuts also introduced by the Liberals. The LLP was against those tax cuts and for a good reason. The Liberals are busy with a race to the bottom. Selling our nation piece for piece to the private industry. The LLP will vote against this proposal and urges all the other parties in the presidium to do the same. Jerome Disselflower Spokesperson Finance, LLP |
