Bill: Diplomatic Reassurances and Common Standards Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Progressive Socialist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 4400
Description[?]:
Currently our laws have no provisions on how to rightly deal with ambassadors and other foreign dignitaries. If we want to reintroduce ourselves back in full on the world stage, our allies (and enemies) need to be reassured that if they send delegates to negotiate international treaties or conduct embassy work, they will not be obstructed. Lodamun is a country known for its openness to other cultures and peoples, and this law is essential in properly defending the rights of all these people. |

Proposed: Diplomats are exempt from prosecution for criminal acts but not from civil lawsuits, but may still be expelled because of criminal acts.
