Date | 10:44:11, May 29, 2018 CET | From | United Front of Beluzia | To | Debating the Civilian Protection From Bio-Weapons Act |
Message | UFOB, strongly disagree with the use of both chemical and biological weapons due to their longer lasting effect on the environment, civilians aswell as the cost of them. Although we don't necessarily support the proposed changes we do see it as an improvement from the prior law. |
Date | 14:27:51, May 29, 2018 CET | From | Liberty Party | To | Debating the Civilian Protection From Bio-Weapons Act |
Message | The Conservative-Liberty government appreciates the UFOB's sentiment with respect to chemical and biological weapons and sincerely hope nukes don't have to be used. However Beluzia cannot allow itself to be dictated by terms which may not be adhered to by our opponents. Part of the deterrent factor to a nuclear war is the fact that civilians may be targeted and thus their ability to reconstruct after the event is severely reduced if not wiped out. We must maintain this threat. |
Date | 17:11:12, May 29, 2018 CET | From | United Front of Beluzia | To | Debating the Civilian Protection From Bio-Weapons Act |
Message | UFOB thanks Liberty for their response on the matter and assures them that they understand the aesthetic need for the weapons. The UFOB however strongly believe that the cons significantly outweigh the pros and we don't hold enough trust in the current government to have assurance that these weapons would only be used in extreme circumstances. Until then, we will vote for as much restriction on the weapons as we can. |
Date | 20:28:43, May 29, 2018 CET | From | Liberty Party | To | Debating the Civilian Protection From Bio-Weapons Act |
Message | We understand ideological differences Liberty may have with the UFOB however we take umbrage at the idea that the current government would be reckless in using nuclear weapons. We are fully aware of the destructive nature of the weaponry at our disposal and the decisive effect they can have and wouldn't take the decison to use them on our way out the door for lunch as the UFOB seems to be suggesting. |
Date | 03:42:23, May 30, 2018 CET | From | United Socialist Party | To | Debating the Civilian Protection From Bio-Weapons Act |
Message | UFOB, we completely understand your sentiment and we fully agree. The United Socialist Party saw this as a stepping stone in the path to remove these weapons from our hands. |

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar). |
