Bill: Ethics Enforcement for Alcohol Distributors
Details
Submitted by[?]: Front for State Prosperity
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 2198
Description[?]:
Believing alcohol to be a detriment to society and a drug used to prevent people from realizing and acting upon the general misery of their lives, the Front for State Prosperity proposes that all alcohol distributors be required to be licensed and follow certain regulations. The administrative burden of these regulations shall be covered by the licensing fees. In return, alcohol distributors will get access to a more exclusive market and the overall amount of alcohol distributed into the economy will decrease. |

Proposal[?] to change Government policy towards alcoholic beverages.
Old value:: Alcoholic beverage regulations are not imposed by the government.

Message | Note, this is an "incremental" step. We intend to go farther than this, but do not believe that sudden changes of a wide-spread are healthy. |

Message | If it can still be consumed by anyone, what difference does where it is sold make? Wouldn't that just create more government slowdown and damage business? |

Message | If any change needs to be made, it is in the area of who can purchase; not where they can purchase. |
