Message | We've been slowly destroying the planet we live in. We care too much about what we have and too little about what that implicates to the place we live in. União Conservadora Nacional do Tukarali has played a big role on it by incentivizing the clearance of florests, for example. We also delegate too many essential issues to local governments that many times don't hear the people and don't do what should be done. That has had really bad implications on the environment but we can cange that. It's in our hands to save this planet and guarantee the protection of nature. Our bill on ecology represents progress and a victory for our planet. We must act now and for that this bill needs to get passed. Sofia Henriques, Spokeswoman of Partido Socialista do Povo |

Message | "We are strongly opposed to the centralizing nature of this bill. Unlike what the Partido Socialista do Povo claims, it is usually the centrfal government which doesn't hear the people, because it is too far away from. Local governments, on the other hands are far better equpped to assess the environmental requirements and the needs of the people in their respective areas and should keep the powers to act accordingly." Gláucia Garcia, Minister of Environment and Tourism |

Message | Local governments have had the time to do something about this and they didn't take that chance. This is only measures that will be applied by the central government. This doesn't mean however we won't allow local governments to apply more measures and do more on this issue according to the particular problems they face and needs they need to satisfy. These measures are what all the country needs for us to protect the environment because this is an issue that concerns and affects us all. We hope you take another look at this bill and understand its urgence. However, any decision you take, we´ll respect as we live in a democracy and hope we can work together for the progress and prosperity of Tukarali.
