Message | Mr Speaker, they're at it already. It didn't take long, but here we are. I don't believe that our current level of defence spending is helpful or desirable. But the state needs to possess the ability to defend itself, and shouldn't allow any private company to involve itself in the provision of defence. The free market dogma is coming for the Government, even wanting a seat round the table. I urge all other parties to refute this attempt at outsourcing the nations defences. |
