Message | We don't support this legislation. Our retirement age is appropriate for our people and global norms shouldn't change our views on such a subject. |
Date | 10:31:16, June 02, 2018 CET | From | Démocrates Libres | To | Debating the Retirement Bill |
Message | With rising life expectancy and better standards of healthcare, providing pensions to people for 20 or 30 years after they retire is increasingly unaffordable. Additionally, many people in their sixties are able to work and want to continue to do so to provide structure and purpose to their lives. |

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there. |
