Message | Bonaparte Desrosiers, Leader of the Congress of the Left: Mr. Speaker, While we no longer require military service- instead keeping it as an option- it doesn't seem right that we still have legislation that implies a requirement o serve regardless of an individual's moral, religious, or other personal beliefs. This legislation merely addresses what has become a legislative anachronism of sorts but one that still has a potential chilling effect on the liberties of Talmorian people- we will not punish anyone who chooses not to serve. |
