Voting deadline: April 4406

Description[?]:

Herr Präsident,

As per the economic plan announced by my colleague Herr Goddestreu, the government aims to return all services that are not absolutely essential to private ownership. With this bill, we will give effect to the privatisation of the energy sector and the post office as contained in the Economic Agenda offered by Herr Goddestreu.

Citizens can rest assured that we will be on top of it to ensure that service quality will not deteriorate. The bill for privatisation contains regulations mandating that postal services will still be provided in each municipality and on at least five days of the week. For the energy sector, the government is committed to keeping the energy grid in public ownership to prevent the formation of private monopolies on part of the grid which will drive up prices. We are, however, convinced that in the end, we can achieve higher quality and lower prices at a lower cost to the public, freeing up funds for other parts of this government's agenda.

I commend this bill to the house.

Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI).

Random quote: "Corruption greases the wheels of government, and my private jet." - Sung Dae Kim, former Dranian politician
