Bill: Budget proposal of August 4405

Details

Submitted by[?]: Dolgavas patrioti (Dolgava Patriots)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 4406

Description[?]:

The Dolgavas patrioti (Dolgava Patriots) propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Republic of Dolgava.

This budget reform will combine with the taxation reform to present this great country with a stronger economy.

Head of government: the lack of funds for this department is beyond depressing. How can the head of government function with such a small amount of money?

Foreign affairs: a necessary cut , with funds being redirected from foreign aid efforts to improving trading.

Finance: a stronger financial department will see our economy rise and improve. Better taxing and better budget control can only come from this increase.

Defence: we must strengthen our military might to show the world we are willing and capable of putting up a fight! Extra funds will go towards improving soldier conditions, expanding current arms and funding extra covert units.

Health and social services: a temporary budget cut which will be remedied after the taxation reform.

Education and culture: a temporary budget cut which will be remedied after the taxation reform.

Science and technology: a temporary budget cut which will be remedied after the taxation reform.

Environment and tourism: climate change will not be the priority for this government, and we will be cutting funds to fight climate change.

Trade and industry: we will be directing additional funds to this department to kick start a new trading initiative which will improve our economy.

When all is orderly, he does not forget that disorder may come. Thus his person is not endangered, and his States and all their clans are preserved." - Confucius
