Message | Herr Präsident, Having just abolished our nuclear programme for reasons of being inefficient and a drag on the public finances, we can hardly be in favour of it being restarted. In addition, we believe that national service is essential to the formation of young Crownlanders into citizens. If any change is to be made, we would prefer the introduction of a civilian alternative. shr. ehrw. Peter Meinhardt, MdR Defence Minister |
