Voting deadline: September 4409

Description[?]:

Amina Bengazi, Whip of AR:

"Mr Speaker,
we return on a topic that always generated strong debates. The right of the employeers to fire striking workers that act "without reasonable reasons".
First of all, who decides what is a reasonable reasons? The employers? How could accept this?
A strike, organized by an entire trade union, could not be a reason to fire the workers! What? We should expect mass firing? I don't think so."

MessageLuciano Vespa-Baldassare, PND Leader,

We are going in circles. A strike is a threat to the employer, who has orders to deliver in time. Hence, the threat of firing the worker is nothing but an adequate reciprocal measure. Otherwise workers may strike as much as they want without repercussion, but the business owner has to pay them their monthly wages nonetheless. Why should he or she pay if the workers are striking instead of working?

In terms of "reasonable reason", this can be discussed in court for individual cases. After all, trade unions are massive organizations, they can afford lawyers.

"Mr Speaker,
we demand to Mr Vespa-Baldassare if he understand the absurdity of its reasons! Striking is not a way to take an holiday! If the workers strikes, clearly there are worker conditions for which they demand an enhancement. All of us clerly understand that anyway the employer will always be against any revendication! But the employer has his responsabilities! It is not a reciprocal measure, it is a blackmail Mr Vespa-Baldassare! BLACK-MAIL!

OOC: we really hope these are not your real political position shiny, first of all, and then, don't you think that to play the role you fall into surreal debate?
Are you conscious of the fack that these argoumentation are... idiocy? Something which seems come from XIX century at least!

MessageOoc: this party is almost completely made up, dont worry XD Irl I have mixed feelings on striking because I fully support trade unions and every workers right to strike, but I have also witnessed where it is abused (in Germany there was a big strike of the Rail way union, and they just kept going giving the "private" railway company so much trouble and I as consumer felt great frustration when my train didnt come, once again. Ultimately, they came to some sort of compromise, but it was becoming ridiculous) however, honestly i like how it is in my home country Germany. It is usually quite fair.

MessageAnd my arguments arent surreal at all, in the US when people went out to protest/strike on womens day, they got fired. Simple. The PND is a party which would allow that.

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar).
