Message | “To my colleagues and I this bill is a mixed bag. We applaud the right to collective bargaining, and banning child labor. But it also establishes a minimum wage which is quite frankly at such an outrageous sum that it cannot be implemented or it will ruin our economy. So we will stand against it. |

Message | Our current economic system is not in anyway immoral, it is by far the most moral economic system in all of Terra. Our people are truly free to pursue in what they wish as long as it doesn't infringe on another individuals rights. Our economic system is all about providing for all through market forces pushed along by voluntary exchange. |

Message | People who are poor don't have the freedom to pursue what they want because essential services like healthcare and education are unaffordable and they are mistreated by their employees who are allowed to pay them miserable wages, to fire them when they go on strike and to put them working for an inhumane amount of hours. Our economic system doesn't provide for all, it provides for some in the top. The big companies stop having any regulation preventing them from destroying smaller companies and as such turn into big monopolies that present a danger to this country and its people. The rich have the chance to run from paying taxes and can profit off the misery of others as much as they want and destroy the environment for their own benefit as much as they want. We need to change that and guarantee big corporations and the rich ones don't explore others for their own benefit. A fairer economic system is not only necessary, it's a moral obligation towards those that have worked all their lives for miserable wages and lack of recognition. |
