Message | We believe the death penalty is a just punishment for certain heinous crimes which are unbelievable infringements on other individuals rights. The recording of DNA by the government is a slippery slope which historically has led to government misusing this as an excuse to infringe of the rights of innocent citizens. The national police force in Sekowoan history has historically been used to oppress the people of Sekowo under tyrannical governments. And why shouldn't our people have the freedom to live in gated communities. National Council of the Jiyū Party of Sekowo (自由党) |

Message | We believe death penalty to be cruel and an ineffective and expensive form of punishing those who commit illegal acts. However, it's important to state that our proposal doesn't completely ban death penalty since it allows its use against those who commit terrorism, treason and crimes against mankind. We will, however, probably take out that proposal if we don't get approval from the People's Party in the next hours since because of a previous bill we believe to have their support for our other proposals. We also believe DNA from those convicted of a crime to be necessary to ensure our safety. We understand your concerns but this is the DNA of people we know have committed a crime and the government is committed to work with other parties to ensure the rights and safety of innocent people are protected. A national police department is necessary to guarantee the safety of people, that job would be complemented with local police departments. Private security firms manage worse our security than a national and local police departments. Your reason to not support that idea doesn't change that, we are the only country that has this policy. Most other countries have what I'm proposing and they haven't had any problems with it. Gated communities are a way of dividing people up because of the money they have. It's us vs them, we must promote social inclusion and we believe gated communities, both private and public, to be an obstacle towards achieving that ideal. They also have no proven effect in guarateeing the safety of those living inside them. As such, we believe this to be a good bill that achieves much needed progress for this country. Message | Since the People's Party hasn't opposed the measures we present here and they have already been online since this bill was presented, we will now move into voting procedures and hope to count with a majority's support. Saki Hamasaki, Spokesperson of Change |
