MessageIts 2198, we have just emerged from the dark ages, most of our continet still dwells under tribal rule.

As posted in the Communist Partys bill on the matter

"We are dead against Article 3. Women must never be allowed to serve in the front line, it is not a system that works, and is not one that should be encouraged by the government.

It is simply implausible to allow such a situation to arise. Firstly it is notable that the male and female bodies are different, and that the female body is more liable to injury in infantry training, and therefore would be more liable to injury in long running campains and actual combat.

Due to the stereotypes that children are raised up in, men will always see themselves as the protector of the female. Thus we would have a situation where the men in a unit would show a greater concern for their female comrades, over their male comrades, which creates serious problems in terms of maintaining discipline and morale in the event of of a female soldier being injured, or worse killed.

Also the nature of living in the field and close quarter combat creates certain problems with regards to hygiene and other factors. Maintaining an all male unit, in terms of hygiene, is easy and efficient. Add women to this situation and sddenly it becomes more complex, and typically will lead to a breakdown in discipline (its why we have seperate facilities for men and women in public buildings)

Sex is an issue that cannot be ignored. It cannot be stopped, even if the army issues order stopping it. However the difference is a man cannot become pregnant during training or combat operations, a woman can. One cannot suggest that 'oh it won't happen', but the truth is t does happen, and women currently in non-front line posiitons have fallen pregnant, and thus their services are lost, either for a certain period of time, or indefinitly. It is foolish to allow a situation where infatrywomen complete their training, serve for a short period of time, and then fall pregnant, without serving their full time, and at immense cost to the Armed Forces.

Finally we cannot discount the fact that if a man is captured he may be subject to abuse from the captors. However should we as a nation allow the possibility of a front line female soldier to fall into the enemies hands, with the horrifying prospect of being more suspect to rape and other sexual abuses. To create this situation is crazed, and morally indefensible.

Therefore we ask the Communist Party to review Article 2, preferrably leaving it out.

However we are in full support of Article 1, for too long certain groups have ignored the military, leaving it to rural folk and the poor to defend their nation."

If you have no arguments in favour of placing women in the front line, other than cries of 'equality', then please don't suggest the destruction of our army's fighting capabilities.

MessageFurthermore how is article one cruel? Shouldn't the nation defend itself in times of war?
