| While the position of our party regarding capital punishment is well known, for now we can't just abolish it. However, we have come into an agreement with Factio Imperialis regarding its uses. Right now, capital punishment as stablished by the Yukimuran Law of Capital Punishment is applied in the following situations: high treason, terrorism, espionage, insurrection, piracy, mutiny, desertion, crimes against humanity (war crimes, genocide, ethnic cleansing, apartheid, enslavement, extrajudicial punishments, state terrorism, racial discrimination, military use of children, unethical human experimentation, and deportation or forcible transfer of population), and aggravated murder, including parricide, assassination, murder of a person under the age of 13, murder of a police officer, murder of person with disabilities, murder-for-hire, murder of multiple victims, murder of witnesses, and murder committed in the course of committing serious felony offenses, including torture, rape, arson, or armed robbery By this law, and until a further abolishment of the law, capital punishment will only be applied in the following situations: high treason, espionage, insurrection, mutiny, crimes against humanity (terrorism, war crimes, genocide, ethnic cleansing, apartheid, enslavement, extrajudicial punishments, state terrorism, racial discrimination, military use of children, and deportation or forcible transfer of population), and aggravated murder, including parricide, assassination, murder of a person under the age of 13, murder of a police officer, murder of person with disabilities, murder-for-hire, murder of multiple victims, murder of witnesses, and murder committed in the course of committing serious felony offenses, including torture, rape, arson, or armed robbery Caprenia Belletor Minister of Justice |
