| This bill will benefit logging companies, taxpayers, and the environment. 1. Logging companies: This bill will eliminate the time-consuming process for loggers to get licences. We believe that the licensing craze in which everything starts requiring a government license is a major obstacle to freedom. This will save the logging companies money, as licenses aren't free. 2. This will also save the taxpayers money, as it will allow the destruction of some of the expensive government bureaucracy that governs licensing. 3. This bill will help the environment tremendously. The logging companies can use the money that they no longer have to spend of licenses on extra tree saplings instead. The forestation of our country will increase our lumber resources, create new habitats for animals, improve our air quality, and ever so slightly make the temperature cooler. While I'm always apprehensive about requiring businesses to do anything, this is a necessary step if we are to continue the work of our ancestors and make our desert bloom. |
