Message | Mr. Speaker, The Scientians will vote against this bill as we support the present policy. It is our view that fully funding the termination of unwanted pregnancy saves more costs than it takes. We may recommend additional state measures to promote proper family planning and contraception use in the future to reduce the rate of unwanted pregnancy and thus abortion. - Ambassador Norbert Lowell of the Scientian Enclave |

Message | Mr. Speaker, To Mr. Lowell's point, how does it save more than it costs? Also what else can we do? We already provide free and readily available contraceptives and we have one of the best sexual education programs in the entire modern world. Jeffery Rawson Federalist Parliament Leader |

Message | Mr. Speaker, The cost of raising unwanted children (education, health care) far exceeds the cost of aborting them. Unwanted children may find themselves being raised by unmotivated parents or left wards of the state. Both circumstances are best avoided. We Scientians understand the necessity of reproduction for the continued survival of the human species, but believe we can go about it in a more efficient and more planned fashion that will maximize social good. - Ambassador Norbert Lowell of the Scientian Enclave |

Message | Mr. Speaker, That's assuming that they don't still seek out the procedure. Which is a pretty large assumption and really doesn't warrant the conclusion of higher costs. Jeffery Rawson Federalist Parliament Leader |
