| Currently, the government provides large discount for birth control. This is not right. If people want to have sex, they should buy their own protection. Some will say that people have the right to be safe and have fun at the same time, and that is true, but not the government's responsibility. If they want protection, they can buy it themselves. Also, this does not set a good moral example for young teenagers. |

There are underpriveledged people who still are having sex these days..... and isn't this bill sort of contradicting to your other bill on abortion??? You think that abortion should be legal unless there are medical emergencies correct? Well if people aren't going to be allowed the option of abortion under your bill, shouldn't they be provided with protection (contraceptives) in order to prevent having to have an abortion??? Or in the case of your bill, provided with contraception so that they wont be having a child they don't want??? |
