Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 2199

Description[?]:

The BDP’s primary focus is on ensuring the safety of Beluzia. Diplomacy is one of they key ways to ensure any countries safety. Therefore, we propose that anyone who wants to establish an embassy on our soil, should be allowed to do so. There is no reason to not allow a country to establish an embassy. It helps is work better with our allies, and would help us avoid war or other armed conflict with our enemies.

MessageI actually agree with the current law. The realm of international interaction is too board and complicated to progress without some regulation. The Foreign Office can easily approve every request. But they should still be able to attain all needed infomration about any embassy for future reference. The proposed law would allow any random dignatary to claim their home as an embassy.

MessageI agree with the current law and as such the Beluzian Moderates. The current law gives us the ability to know where foreign dignataries are based in Beluzia, the proposed bill does not.

Random fact: Cultural Protocol bills must provide a real-life equivalent or short description for the ethnic groups, languages and religions contained in them, such that it would be easy for an unfamiliar player to understand (e.g. "Dundorfian = German"). Where appropriate, they should also provide guidance to players on where to find help with translations and character names. This might include, for example, links to Google Translate, Behind the Name's Random Name Generator and Fantasy Name Generators.
