Description[?]:
Today thousands of protesters marched through the streets of Azban to protest against the government's recently proposed reforms. Many members of GG and other PAG parties attended the protest. Some, like former president Philippo Rombo, even held speeches against the government's plans. The protest was mostly peaceful, except for an incident where in the evening a drunk protester injured two other protesters by throwing a bottle at them. During the protest, GG launched a petition to the government, that demands a referendum to be held on the controversial reforms. |

Message | Press Conference on Protest in Azban: First off, I actually want to thank the protesters for keeping their activism safe and for participating in our great democratic system. However I do find very disagreeable the attacks that have been made unless government coalition, at no point is this government attempting to take away ortac the average citizen of this country. Thus far this government has offered no proposal to dismantle, destroy or remove a single government agency. In fact looking towards our recent reform on the Healthcare System you will see that this government has an option to get rid of the public option instead we allowed competition between the public option the private option which both creates more job opportunities for healthcare professionals and better health care for the average citizen. And our new farming reform will allow small Family Farms to operate without the government's big thumb pressing down and squeezing are farmers a profit and feasibility. I once again thank the protesters for letting their opinions known but I would invite them to allow this government the opportunity to address these concerns in reasonable legislation.
