This ORBAT builds upon the overview of the Telamon Armed Forces provide here - http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=573857 ORBAT This review provides an overview of major equipment =Navy= Name: Ocean Fleet (or First Fleet) Base: Suðureyja (Migadon) Role: Patrol the Mad Dog Ocean, support NoCTO (MARSAF), protect Telamese fishing, whaling and merchant fleets. Composition: 2 Destroyers, 6 Frigates, 2 Patrol Vessels, 4 Mine Countermeasures Name: Second Fleet Base: Norðurland (Ferene) Role: Patrol the Green Sea, protect Telamese fishing, whaling and merchant fleets. Composition: 1 Destroyer, 3 Frigates, 2 Patrol Vessels, 2 Mine Countermeasures Name: Third Fleet Base: Vesturland (Lirona) Role: Patrol the Unholy Sea, protect Telamese fishing, whaling and merchant fleets. Composition: 1 Destroyer, 3 Frigates, 2 Patrol Vessels, 2 Mine Countermeasures Name: Hunter Fleet Base: Miðland (Sevescia) Role: Telamons sub-surface capabiity Composition: 6 Submarines Additionally there are 5 Naval Air Squadrons (including one training and one Search and Rescue each other Sqn is aligned with First, Second and Third Fleets), coordinating all Helicopters operating in the Navy. Each Commando is based at one of the major port facilities =Army= The Army is organised into 4 Divisions I Division - Armoured - 3 Brigades (2 Armoured 1 Mechanised) II Division – Mechanised – 3 Brigades (1 Armoured Brigade 1 Mechanised 1 Light) V Division – Suðureyja (Migadon) – 2 Brigades (1 Mechanised 1 Light) X Division – Mechanised – 3 Brigades (1 Armoured Brigade 1 Mechanised 1 Light) There are two Independent Brigades – Rapid Reaction (Light) and Guards (Ceremonial) An Armoured Brigade consists of 3 tactical formations and support elements. A tactical formation is either an infantry or armoured battalion/regiment. Fighter (Air Defence) - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saab_35_Draken Bomber/Reconnaissance (Strike) - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saab_37_Viggen =Air Defence= Air Defence batteries fall under the Air Force. There are strategic batteries designed to defend key sites and Telamon airspace and tactical mobile systems designed to provide support to the Army and to strategic batteries. =Ground Defence Regiment= The Air Force GDR is a 1,000 strong. Organised into 5 Squadrons of ~120 pers, based at the 5 main operating bases of the Air Force. =Special Forces= Special Forces are 1,000 personnel strong, broken into a 150 man Sqn operating Helicopters and other transport ac, a 350 man support element (logistics, communications and intelligence etc) and a 500 man SF unit slit into 4 Sqns and a small HQ element. 1 Sqn is aligned with Counter-Terror operations while the other 3 Sqn’s specialise in Artic/Mountain, Long Range patrolling/infiltration and Maritime operations. =Home Guard= Broken into 5 (Regional) Divisions, each Division is broken into 3 (Administrative) Brigades, each Brigade is broken into 2 (Operational) Battlegroups. The Battlegroups are the effective fighting units and contain (light) infantry, armour, artillery and support service elements. In the event of an invasion some Battlegroups have a particular area to defend, whereas other have a more mobile role in support of Telamese offensive capability. In each region there would be 8 Battlegroups providing support to the Regular forces.
