Revised Edition, 2198.

1) The offices of Consul (or Head of State, bearing change of title) and Praetor (or Head of Government, bearing change of title) shall not be filled by the same party during the same term.
2) The office of Praetor shall be filled by the largest party if they did not the election for Consul.
--a) If the largest party did win the seat of Consul, the seat of Praetor shall be filled by the second largest party.
--b) The candidate for the seat of Praetor may defer it to another party of their choosing.
3) The National Directory shall vote no upon any proposed cabinet where the Praetor is controlled by the same party as that of the Consul, as well as any cabinet not assigning the office of Praetor to the rightful party as determined by this amendment.
