MessageMr Speaker, I will resign as chancellor if this was to pass. It is therefore up to the coalition partners of Labour and The Liberal Republican party if they wish to continue in a coalition or to break it up.

MessageMr Speaker,

I too make the commitment my Honourable Friend the Chancellor just gave. I will resign as Minister for Finance, and My Honourable Friends the Minister for Infrastructure and Transport and Trade and Industry will resign also. We cannot allow this rotten bill to be Carried out in our name. The Labour party have abandoned their claim to be a Party of the Working Class, and have sold them down the river. What a sad day, we're seeing the Coalition broken not by the voters, who endorsed it once again, but by Political and Class traitors, particularly the Labour Party, who claim to be a Left Wing Party but have voted for Neoliberal policies. This bill looks as though it will pass, but not in my name, not in the name of hundreds of thousands of Trade Unionists up and down the country, and not in the name of the Luthori people. We will say this loudly and clearly.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We hoped to find a compromise between the ideals of freedom that this country holds dear, and the principles of the coalition. Labour prides itself on it's left wing ideals, but we also think that our country should be open for business. That is why we supported these proposals, as we think that Articles 1 and 4 would be beneficial. If the SDP and the TUSC wish to destabilise the nation by resigning their positions then that is fine by us. We will see how the voters see this over-dramatic PR stunt

MessageMr Speaker,

If Labour wishes to rule a neo Liberal system they should rename their party. Article four deeply threatens Union ability to pursue their members interests and to see a left wing party actively lowering wages for the weakest in society will forever taint their history and the voters will punish such actions. My decision to resign is of the simple reason that I can not represent a goverment wh such policies. And I can certainly not put my.name on it.
