Bill: Kennitölur (Identity Cards)

Details

Submitted by[?]: Lýðveldisflokkurinn (Republican Party)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 4419

Description[?]:

Given that Telamese citizens can already get a passport and (presumably) get a driving license we query the requirement to have identity cards. Therefore we propose there abolition and the money be reassigned elsewhere.

MessageWe agree that issuing identity cards to everyone is unnecessary. However offering them to those who want them - for a small processing fee - would be helpful. They are much more portable than a passport and not everyone acquires a drivers licence.

Random fact: Once approved, players should copy Cultural Protocols into a bill in the debate section of their nation page, under the title of "OOC: Cultural Protocols". This bill should include links to the passed Cultural Protocol bill and the Moderation approval.
