Message | SInce religions receive no government funding and the religious schools are now illegal, the collection of taxes of religious organisations by the government is another attempt by the governmet to take money that they have no right to take. As religions receive nothing in return for their taxes except sanctioned government discrimination, we must eliminate religious taxation. |

Message | "profits made by religions are used for the internal operations such as the upkeep of the church infrastructure and the payment of it's ministers." - As would be profits by private industry, just replace "church" with "factory" or "sales outlet" etc and replace "ministers" with "staff" or "shareholders". The government does not discriminate against any religions, in fact it was this government that removed the discriminatory laws that only allowed religious schools to be operated by registered religions. Religions are operated like any other business. They provide a service and receive a payment for said service (in this case a belief in a spiritual entity, afterlife or reincarnation etc) and, like any other industry, are taxed accordingly. We would also point out that one of the richest groups in the world is the Catholic Church which receives large amounts of money from its patrons and not all of which goes to "upkeep of church infrastructure" or "payment of ministers". |
