Message | It's a vaguely worded but Liberty would still like to know who would make this determination and what recourse do people have if they are wrongly detained? |
Date | 00:19:13, July 09, 2018 CET | From | Beluzia Socialist People's Party | To | Debating the Mental Health reform Act |
Message | The law would only be used where two medical professionals are in agreement that a person is a danger to the lives and well being of others. It is intended that very few orders would ever be given. In terms of recourse, there would always be a right to appeal. The emphasis during detention will be on treatment and recovery. |

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too. |
