Bill: The government's policy on advertising
Details
Submitted by[?]: Fatherland Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2199
Description[?]:
We need to regulate advertisement to prevent the advertisement of non-healthy and dangerous goods. For example advertisement of tobacco products and hard alcohol (vodka) shouldn't be allowed openly. When advertisement is based on imagination it is wrong. Is it cool to smoke cigarettes and get drink vodka? No, it is not. It is relaxing yes but we shouldn't encourage anyone to do it. |

Message | He didn't say. He just said this is wrong and therefore it is. Go figure. Maybe smoking and drinking is cool? Depends on your point of view, doesn't it? Since when does the government decide people's points of view? |

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar). |
