Bill: ElectoralTerm Extension
Details
Submitted by[?]: Szlachta Walruzyjska
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 4421
Description[?]:
OOC: So having 36 month terms is great and all, but I'd like to propose having 42 month (3.5y) terms. The reasoning behind this, as odd a number as it is, is that it would be equal to a week in real time (6 months a day, x7, equals 42 months), which would mean that the government, short of early elections, could change every week regularly, which I feel is a decent amount of time for anyone to be in office, and it makes elections a lot more predictable in that sense. |
