Details

Submitted by[?]: Progressive Socialist Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 4422

Description[?]:

The PSP is of the opinion that these strict conditions are not enough to prevent that a weapon gets into the wrong hands. We suggest that we only allow individuals to have fire arms when their profession requires it. This Bill is the reintroduction of the Gun Law Act of 4415.

MessageThe purpose of a gun is to use it for violence, whether enacted to human or non-human animals. We, at the Secular Humanist Party abhor violence support anything that limits the capabilities for violence of both state and people.

We therefore support the change in law.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Our position on this issue hasn't changed from the last time this proposal was introduced. We won't support it as we see that the current gun laws are as strict as they can be while still allowing law-abiding citizens a chance to obtain firearms for their protection.

NGPoL MP
Candidate for Internal Affairs Minister

MessageMr. Speaker,

No man will be able to protect his family, or Lodamun for that matter, if we allow this bill to pass. The National-Socialist Lodamun Workers Party votes against.

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset.

Random quote: "In Germany they first came for the Communists and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me--and by that time no one was left to speak up." - Pastor Martin Niemoller
