| The seats occupied by Magni Iudex Megadorus Pertinax and the Hon. Aricia Sagona, Lyco Rex and Gregos Kouris have been left empty, following their decease due to old age, and after no government has attempted to open the public submissions. Therefore new judges should be chosen to replace them. Candidates should be proposed to the Minister of Justice, who will accept them if they have a clean historial, and will be proposed to the Caesar, who will tpropose them to be ratified by the Senate. A candidate must obtain a simple majority to pass the selection. Every party can propose a candidate by sending an official post describing the position of their candidate in each issue of Selucia (Foreign affairs, Civil liberties, etc) to the Justice Minister. The Senate shall vote to approve the candidature or not. At least 2/3 of the Selucian parties and 2/3 of the Senators shall vote. The candidate will pass if a single majority is achieved, and will fail in the opposite scenario. If it fails, there is no second chance and Article 99 is immediately activated, which indicates that "if after all the candidates presented have been proposed to the Senate and no one has won the vote of confidence, the members of the Supreme Court shall be given the authority to elect a candidate by themselves".
