Message | Absurd discrimination against people of faith which only serves to give far-leftist religions a free run at indoctrinating our school children. We vote no. |
Date | 19:31:45, July 10, 2018 CET | From | Beluzia Socialist People's Party | To | Debating the Church and State Divorce Bill |
Message | "What far-leftist religions? Please elaborate where the discrimination against religions lies. The Liberty Party claims to be for individual freedoms, but does not want our children to be educated in a way that allows them informed choice. Likewise a vote against this bill gives tax breaks to the Pantafloja megachurch. Just when we thought we might be able to make common cause with Liberty against the Nationalists." - Cleo Frantzen (education spokesperson) |

Message | People of faith have the right to be involved in and direct their country. They are taxpaying citizens. By insisting there can be no religious schools, which don't teach religion and only religion by any means, we are not providing these citizens with any form of informed choice. Instead they are being corralled into the state system of leftist indoctrination. As much as the far-left like to deny it is as religious, if not more so, in it's demand of unquestioning adherence while pretending it is advocating inquiry. Liberty will never make cause with a party on this issue while it continues to discriminate so blatantly. This bill will wither on the vine and rightfully so. |

Message | "The Liberty Party will be first against the wall." raged Jurgen Spitzmann, while Sonia Mellencamp later issued a statement offering a more conciliatory tone, "We are sorry the Liberty Party feel that way. We only add that they are wrong. We add that we left it to schools to determine if they were to include prayer in their daily observances. This bill was designed to appeal to our libertarian comrades it is a shame they cannot see past party politics." |

Message | "The Pantafloja Church of Prosperity thanks the Liberty Party for their vote on this issue" |
Date | 20:10:11, July 10, 2018 CET | From | Liberty Party | To | Debating the Church and State Divorce Bill |
Message | Unfortunately Mr Spitzmann's comment wasn't even in jest. Liberty are saddened to think Miss Mellencamp entertains such totalitarian elements within her party and we feel it sets back any notion of detente between our sides even further. |

Message | Sonia Mellencamp issued the following statement, "Jurgen is young and idealistic, Perhaps we may invite delegates from the Liberty party to a cheese and wine mixer at my island retreat in Bailon. I'm sure we may find some common positions and ground. We see you have voted against a nationalist government and want to work with you to prevent it's excesses, particularly should it wish to change the constitution." |

Message | Lliberty find it a great shame that the best offer the BSPP could come up with was a wine and cheese sit down after explicit threats from one of its members in this place. This shows a distinct lack of leadership, originality and a great deal of political naivete by Miss Mellancamp. We note also this is not the first time such caustic, bombastic flamethrowers have been allowed free reign in the BSPP ranks. Liberty will find it hard to countenance further discussion on matters of state while this situation continues to exist. |

Message | It's Ms. Mellencamp. |
Date | 22:00:56, July 10, 2018 CET | From | Liberty Party | To | Debating the Church and State Divorce Bill |
Message | Still no contrition or reflection by the BSPP in this serious matter. Only glib correction. This isn't helping you. |
