| Message | Mr. Speaker, Right now only individuals can evangelize, not religions. Yet the distinction between individual speech and organizational speech is not necessarily clear. When a pastor goes on television to preach the gospel, does she do so as an individual citizen, or as a representative of a religion? Right now, an unnecessary amount of court time is spent litigating that distinction. We suggest cutting red tape and allowing religious institutions to advertise freely.
