Message | I'm sorry NFC I simply cant accept that torture is effective or ever truly justified , there are simply better less anti-humanitarian manners of procuring information. |

Message | We are, naturally, against such an absurd bill. |

Message | In some circumstances it can be justified, what if torturing one criminal saves hundreds, thousands of lives? |

Message | what if me shooting the next person I see saves hundreds of thousands of lives? The fact is theres no reason to believe that such an action will yeild the results I desire just as theres no reason to believe that torturing a prisoner will yeild effective results . Both actions are also intrinsically negative both internally and in terms of our interations with others (geneva convention anyone?) and thus I dont go around shooting people , and I dont support this bill. greater good arguments rarely are. |
