Message | Mr. Speaker, We believe individual rights are sacrosanct. We believe that all people have the right to freedom of religion and freedom of principle. This right includes the right to manifest one's religion or principles in the action of worship, teaching, observance and practice. Therefore, if one is a true and honest pacifist, she or he should not be made to work in the service of a war he or she does not support. We will support this bill. Message | Mr. Speaker The entire point of exempting Conscientious objectors from combatant roles is to avoid them from being forced to fight in a war. But they can still serve as medics, as logistics for the betterment of their country. The only time the Selective Service Act comes into play is during a Total War footing when an enemy invades or attacks Hutori; that is the time when all able bodied men and women are needed. While we respect the views of our Coalition partners, we must oppose this Bill. Amanda King Minister of Defence |

Message | Honourable Leader of the Ultrackian Socialist Party You have until the end of the Parliamentary Session to introduce this Bill or else I will have it removed permanently from the queue as it's been debated on and is still sitting in limbo almost 12 years later. Speaker of the Parliament |

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset. |
