Message | Mr Speaker, As a new party the Republicans are keen to demonstrate their beliefs on a number of issues. By proposing this legislation the Republicans are given the opportunity to highlight their positions on an important matter. Currently the Republicans actually favour the current tight limit on immigration and as such have raised this proposals to allow us the opportunity to present our views to the public. If it provides an opportunity for the legislature to debate their opinions then that is an added benefit. Thomas McDonald Leader of the Republican Party |
