Bill: Withdrawal of the Seleyan Union Treaty

Details

Submitted by[?]: Ludowa Koalicja

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 4424

Description[?]:

Members of the Sejm,

For the past several years the Seleyan Union has seen a large amount of inactivity and general ineffectiveness of member states to contribute. It has even lead to an artificial hegemony by our nation being created on its affairs simply because no one else showed the initiative. When I traveled to Indrala to discuss possible membership of their nation into the organization it had become clear to me after speaking with Foreign Minister Pan Huanyu that the Seleyan Union was vastly outdated and was doomed to suffer the status quo regardless. It is there where him and I solidified the notion that this alliance is a dead man walking, and so therefore I submitted a vote of no confidence within the Union Assembly. I now take it a step further by presenting to the floor our formal withdrawal from the Seleyan Union. This proclamation thus extends to subsequent withdrawals from other Seleyan Union treaties ratified previously.

Igor Pilarczyk
Minister of Foreign Affairs,
Rzeczpospolita Walruzyjska (Republic of Valruzia)

Random fact: Whilst the use of non-English languages can be appropriate for nation names, party names, constitutional titles and other variables, English is the official language of communication in the game. All descriptive texts and public communications should be in English or at least appear alongside a full English translation.
