Bill: The Impartiality Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Pnték Znkak Prta 'Bastardry'

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 2200

Description[?]:

If the Government supplies contraceptives in toilets, won't they favour a certain brand due to the economies of scale and stifle the market?
If the Government sets up gated communities, won't they only be for those who can afford them or to protect certain groups?
If the Government issues permits to certain groups for space, why should they favouritise certain groups?

Why should the Government be allowed to favour certain groups over others? It's time to butt out. Besides, it's costly. Think of the budget.

Random fact: The influence a bill has on elections decreases over time, until it eventually is no longer relevant. This can explain shifts in your party's position to the electorate and your visibility.
