We disagree with Article 2, which will erode sex based protections for women that exist in order to keep women safe. That is why we don't allow men into women's changing rooms at swimming pools, for example. The ability to change your legal gender immediately, which would be the effect of this law change, would put both Transgender women and biological women in danger. We cannot support this bill for as long as article 2 exists. Articles 1 and 3, however, have our full support
