Description[?]:
Stefano Tatti, Minister of Finance: "Mr Speaker, the Government is ready to proceed with its first reform, a reform which we think we have to introduce for our citizens and in the name of the democracy which led our country. As expression of the will of the citizens, the Government, expression in turn of the Parliament, should have the right to maintain a certain degree of control on the Bank of Istalia. We are not talking about a simple commercial bank, but we are talking about the Central Bank of our State, which must work first of all for Istalia and its citizens. We know very well the risk to have a central bank managed directly by the Government or the Legislature and we want avoid such extreme solution, but at least the Government should have the right to appoint who he estimed to be the best candidate so to direct at the best the action of the Central Bank for the interests of Istalia and its citizens. At the same time, we don't want just to reform this law, but we want introduce a definite rule for the appointment of the Governor of the Bank of Istalia. (OOC: RP Law): the appointment of the governor is ordered by decree of the President of the Republic, on the proposal of the President of the Council of Ministers, after deliberation by the Council of Ministers, after hearing the opinion of the Board of Directors of the Bank of Istalia. The proceeding also applies to the revocation of the governor. His office lasts 5 years, renewable only twice. Also for the other members of the Directory the mandate lasts 5 years and can be renewed only twice. For the bodies of the Bank of Istalia (Board of Directors as well as Directory) see: https://particracy.wikia.com/wiki/Bank_of_Istalia" |

Message | Alessandro Bencivenni, PND Leader, It seems we have left the coalition on time as such reform is not compatible with our national democratic ideals. The cental bank should be in the interest of the economy, unpolitical and consequently independent of the government. |

Message | Camilla Bontempi, Whip of AR: "Mr Speaker, let me remember to our collegues of PND that no interests are more important than the ones of our citizens! Economy should work for the well being of our citizens and we have to underline how the ideas about the "intelligent" invisible hand are so aged and showed all their weakness. The Central Bank of a Nation is a public-law institution, an institution of the State and so it cannot be considered as a private entity but should remain always under the control of the supreme expression of the will of the citizens. Thank you" |

Message | Marco Pelosi, ULD Obviously, the left tries to make everything political. But why? I don't understand it. I don't comprehend it; this is disgusting. Why do you want to have your men everywhere? Why can't you accept the existence of a non-political, non-partisan body? I always knew that the left had authoritarian tendencies, and this makes it even more obvious. You just want to control and regulate everything. And if you truly believe in the interest of our citizens, and if you want to serve them, then you must understand that the model of the economy which serves the citizens is capitalism; pure, unregulated, unsocialized, unpersonalized, unpoliticized capitalism. Let the people serve themselves, give them the freedom to pursue what they want, let them live their lives and create their businesses just like they wish to. And that goes to all leftist parties; the alliance, the "democratic", in parenthesis, front and the agricultural party. |

Message | Camilla Bontempi, Whip of AR: "Mr Speaker, the collegues of ULD, as usual, prefer to talk about teories and what some economic books "idealizes". The problem of all your statement? Simple: who has more will do everything to gain more at expenses of the others and will do everything to avoid that others could persue the same objectives! Unregulated and totally free competitiviness means law of the strongest and in this case the strongest is who has more economic possibilities. The capital tends to be concentrated in regime of capitalism, so... the only ones who can benefits of an unregolated market will be those already in a good economic position! This is not fair, this is not democratic, this is not human! We don't fight for a nation of poors and desperates led by a very little elite formed by the richest. Also because it is clear that who has more economic possibilities will have also more possibilities to influence and dominate the political landscape. We will find ourself into a distopic corporate states! And we will never allow this!" |

Message | Marco Pelosi, ULD You know what? I don't Care. I don't care if someone is in the "rich elite" or if they're broke; let them rule. I'd be okay with the parliament consisting of poor people only, just like I'd be okay with it consisting only of the rich. You should too; you should respect the will of the people, and whoever they would choose. You are a party of supposed "justice"; well, not really, as you are simply curbing the freedom of the rich, you are insulting them on every step. And you know what? They are our citizens, equally as much as the poorest ones. We will never let you discriminate people purely based on their bank account, never! |
