Message | Herr Präsident, Has the party in government gone insane? Violence is never a solution. The only solution, here, like it or not, is compromise. This is tantamount to BW declaring civil war. We have had one in the last century that set us back economically for ages and led to no end of suffering and strife. I am not about to entertain this for even one second, and anyone who does is not a democrat. Just to be clear, Herr Präsident, this ends any discussion of a HDV coalition with the Blaue Welle. That party can consider itself ostracised for all we care. Severin Goddestreu HDV Leader |

Message | Honourable Members of the Reichstag, This bill is abhorrent and we will in no way support it. I appeal to all members, whatever your party affiliation, to vote against the motion. Whatever difficulties our country is facing at this moment, they will not be solved with the creation of paramilitaries. Aroisu Marutin, Secretary-General of the NDU |

Message | Are you surprised when the HDV and NDU want to hold my party to ransom? You have lost two elections now, your voice is insignificant. |

Message | You are in a nation that has a complicated history and political culture and have shown no consideration whatsoever for its particularities, or for that matter the basic logic of politics. If you don't have a majority, you are not entitled to anything. Why should the HDV and NDU give you anything just on the strength of election results? They hold the cards. Without them, you cannot form a government. It is only logical for them to subtract concessions and this happens all the time in coalition negotiation IRL. Hulstria and Gao-Soto is generally a role-playing nation, with extensive RP taking place in the forum. With proper coalition negotiations. If you want to play the variables game or play to win, please consider doing this somewhere more generic and let us play the game the way we enjoy it! Alternatively, let's put this aside and start properly playing out a story. |
