The power of the military in our country has increased far too much over the years and it is vital that the our nation retains an international position based on peace and cooperation. We therefore propose to decrease the militarist capabilities of our nation.

The PSP is heavily in favour of these proposals. However, in the current composition of the Presidium we are unsure of reaching a majority on this subject. Therefore we are very interested to hear what other parties have to say concerning these changes.

The CDUL disagrees with these measures. Our nation has just begun building nuclear weapons without any international fallout. We hope the SHP supports our measures to curtail the power of the military to deal with these weapons responsibly.
