Message | Who defines what a malicious falsehood is? If I call you a bastard, technically that isn't true, assuming your parents were married when they gave birth to you, so does that give you the right to sue me for it? If I call you gay and you're allowed to sue on that basis, what does that say to the wider community about being gay? The point is, sticks and stones will break my bones but names will never hurt me and so the government has no place regulating what citizens can and can't say. |
