Message | I think it should be left to the Government, as they are the elected representatives of the people, not the employers. |
Date | 20:21:43, March 14, 2006 CET | From | Ducal Delegation | To | Debating the Trade Union Bill |
Message | This is an outrageous piece of legislation, and would cripple Aldegar's economy in a wave of industrial unrest. Managers must be allowed to manage. We must not allow Aldegar to subside into a Marxist hell-hole! Percy Waterman (Personal Secretary to the Grand Duke of Hikirena) |
Date | 23:37:55, March 14, 2006 CET | From | Fenner Brockway Socialist Party | To | Debating the Trade Union Bill |
Message | The existing law already prohibits unreasonable dismissals. This can be enforced by the courts. We are not sure that it's necessary to give the executive arm of government a direct role, although we are open to the arguments. |
Date | 01:15:51, March 15, 2006 CET | From | Republican Party | To | Debating the Trade Union Bill |
Message | Hahahaha, what are you? NUTS!? |
Date | 01:26:52, March 15, 2006 CET | From | Ducal Delegation | To | Debating the Trade Union Bill |
Message | His Grace would like to make clear that the next time he is part of the government, he will do everything he possibly can to make sure approval is *always* given to sack striking workers. Percy Waterman (Personal Secretary to the Grand Duke of Hikirena) |
