Bill: Police Activity Devolution

Details

Submitted by[?]: National-Socialist Lodamun Workers Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 4432

Description[?]:

It seems a bit excessive that we patrol public properties at all times. especially when we know that not all public properties need constant security. We think that on this matter the local governments are perfectly capable of knowing which public properties require protection.

John Miller
Leader of the National-Socialists

We would like the opinion of the current Minister of Justice on this matter.

MessageMr. Speaker,

I believe this issue falls under Internal Affairs rather than Justice, but I'll offer my opinion as asked. I would like to say that it makes sense to me for local police who know more about the areas in their jurisdiction to decide on what areas should be patrolled on and when more than others. Therefore, I'd support this proposal.

Edea Deneel,
Lodamun Minister of Justice

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map.
