Description[?]:
Mr Speaker We of the CDUL think a reform of the policy on relgion is long overdue. We believe local governments should be more involved in regard to religion; futhermore, we see an increase in religions that conflict with our norms and values, as such we propose several measures in this bill. Message | Mr Speaker, This proposal seems confused with simultaneous attempts to provide greater flexibility and less flexibility at the same time. We worry that no definition of cultus are provided, which surely is open to abuse? And who is to decide what is a religion and how this affects clothing? There is too much open to interpretation here and we do worry that not enough thought has been put into such a confused piece of legislation. Regina Miller Republican Leader |
