Bill: Justice Reform Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Revolutionäre Sozialistische Partei

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 4433

Description[?]:

The ASP wishes to change how our judicial system works, by making the following changes:

1. Allowing criminals released from jail the right to vote. Essentially, this will make criminals regain their lost rights after being released.
2. Taking away the dictatorial power from the State that comes with deciding when to establish a curfew. We believe it is an unnecessary evil and should not be allowed.
3. The Death Penalty is another unnecessary evil for a modern society. Criminals of all kind must be rehabilitated instead of punished.

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there.
