Message | Mr Speaker, With the passing of the Essential Goods Tax, and the Income Tax Reform, but the defeat of the Budget Reduction, we now see ourselves with a deficit of over 7 Billion HLR. This is not healthy for our economy. We saw what running deficits did to our economy throughout the 4300s, we went from being one of the strongest economies, to being a laughing stock of Terra. We cannot allow that to happen. I urge all parties to put partisanship aside and support these minor cuts that will give us a surplus once again. Message | Mr Speaker, To answer the member from the USPH's question, we cannot cut our military budget while our armed forces are engaged in a conflict. I would like to thank all coalition parties for supporting this budget as it is essential that we prevent a deficit. Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map. |
